I had no clue where Elena was taking me this time. She had a knack for taking me to crazy places lately, but never this far out. Her wide, devious smile should have given me the hint that this was not going to be another beach or spa day on this particular vacation. Elena was always the adventurous and aloof type with a bit of a crazy wild side. I had gotten the benefit of experiencing it even more since she got with that famous basketball player.
I had never been this far out into the world before. The boat sailed across the shimmering water. The sea breeze was gently blowing my hair back and lightly stinging the corners of my eyes. Everything in the air smelled of salt and secrets. The sun was setting slowly behind us, casting a beautiful golden glow across the ocean’s surface as we pulled into the island. It was quite a stunning sight to behold. Tall green trees lined the beach and hid the inside, making it feel even more secluded from the rest of the world. The place was oddly quiet as well. Not as much in an eerie sense, but just in a way that I assumed was typical for a place like this.
The boat gently rocked against the private dock as I looked Elena up and down. She was wearing a cute white sundress, which hugged her petite figure perfectly. Her gold necklace was shining bright in the fading sun. I still wasn’t used to her having so much money to throw around. Instant ramen and dreams used to fuel both of us back in our college days. She didn’t necessarily treat me poorly or anything, and I greatly appreciated these trips. But sometimes I did feel a little like her personal experiment for her to study.
“Alright, are you finally going to tell me where you’re taking me?”
Elena laughed as she took my hand and dragged me down, all giddy.
“It’s super exclusive, Sofia, you’ll see.”
The pathway from the dock led into a thick foliage of green and up a hill as we walked together. Eventually, things cleared up into an opening where I saw quite a strange structure.
A large arena of sorts. But not what you’re thinking of. It was one that was carved into the land itself—something which was clearly ancient, but still with a modern look and upkeep to it. Stone steps circled into a natural basin where a pool took center stage below. Tall torches circled and flickered in the dusk, casting shadows over all the people who made their way in. Men in fine-tailored suits and women with the most beautiful dresses and tacky, overly expensive, and oversized glasses at their sides. Some clutched cocktails and others wore masks. I had never felt so out of place in my entire life… and I was wondering why some people wanted to hide their identity in such a secluded place.
“Um… Elena… What is this?”
Elena’s grin was even wider with almost a sadistic look.
“This is a place for fights. Real fights. You will see soon enough.”
I blinked, feeling my heart racing with a mix of excitement and fear.
“L-like boxing?”
She looked into my eyes for a moment and went back to the arena.
“Hmm… not exactly.”
I felt goosebumps as a shiver went down my back. The anticipation hung in the air as we walked down the steps, getting closer to the water below as the mystery and intrigue sucked me in.
The air was thick as everyone pooled in. Some of the guests laughed, had light conversation, but underneath it all was an incredible looming tension.
Elena and I both sat together on a low stone bench, which was located only a few rows above the pool. I could see everything pretty clearly, the calm water sitting in the pool. I was almost beginning to relax until I heard the sound of drums beating. Deep and hollow, that silenced everyone throughout the arena.
Two women emerged from opposite sides of the pool. They weren’t exactly what I expected if this was some sort of fight.
The first woman was a little broad-shouldered with big and heavy breasts that barely fit into her tight bikini top. Her belly protruded slightly, not that she was out of shape, but instead looked a little soft and full. She had dark hair tied back in a messy little bun. Her head was high, and the look in her eyes was unrelenting as she stared down her opponent. Her look was less one of hatred but more of desperation. Like she was doing what she needed to.
The other woman was leaner and more wiry. Her top clung over her smaller breasts. Her stomach was flat and tensed as she twitched a little. Eager to get this over with. Her hair was dark and cut short as her eyes scanned the water.
“They uh… don’t really look like…”
“Fighters?” Elena turned to me and cut me off.
“They aren’t. Just desperate locals, really. This is tribal combat. Two women. Only one will walk away.”
My head snapped back toward her.
“Wh-what do you mean only one walks away?!”
Elena shrugged, her eyes laser-focused on the women.
“The winner gets money that will change her life forever… and the loser… well…”
“Elena! Are you telling me this is real?” I hissed at her.
“Well, I had known about it for years, but I had never seen it. Thought it was some silly legend.”
“So you bought tickets and dragged me along?” I asked, still shocked.
“Well… I had to know… and I couldn’t go alone…” She smiled nervously at me.
This time, before I could respond, the beating of the drums ceased. We all sat in complete and utter silence as some sort of metallic sound rang out, reminiscent of a bell, as the two women dove into the pool.
There was no sign of any sort of referee or lifeguard. I watched, intrigued, as the woman both swam and circled each other slowly. Their eyes locked together as I could feel my heart now pounding at the sheer raw animalistic nature I was about to watch unfold. But much like a train wreck. I just couldn’t look away.
The bell rang once again. A metallic cold ringing out.
The women continued circling each other like two predators. Neither looked like they were ready to back down. The thick-bodied women had a wide stance in the water, and the other looked ready to collide with each other at any moment.
“It’s time,” Elena whispered, her voice so intrigued.
Before I could even process anything, the thinner woman lunged forward in the water. Splashing water all over. Both of the women locked arms and legs kicked in the water. Like two animals wrestling for dominance. They fought hard for control, sending a fury of slaps and jabs toward one another. Their nails scraping and clawing each other’s tan bodies.
The bigger woman let out a loud grunt as she dragged her opponent into the shallow end and twisted her violently, flipping her over her hip and pouncing on her in a vicious chokehold. She wrapped her arm tightly, digging her bicep against her opponent as her breasts squished against the thinner woman’s back. She used her other hand to rip down at her top, exposing her perky breasts to the crowd, causing a guttural growl to escape the wiry woman’s gritted teeth.
“This is crazy…” I muttered under my breath.
“She’s not even trying to take her out yet… she’s just… wearing her out.”
“And perhaps… humiliating her,” Elena said, mouth agape as we watched on.
The thinner woman eventually slipped herself free from the strong grip. She took a big fistful of the chubby woman’s hair and pulled her hard into the water. Both of them splashed around in the water, the bigger woman’s top slipping off and floating as her large breasts dunked in and out of the water.
Eventually, the thinner woman took the back of the other, locking in a tight sleeper hold as the chubby woman’s breasts jiggled, she clawed at her arm as she tried to break free of the hold.
“She’s got that locked in tight!”
The heavier woman had a panicked look in her eyes as her belly jiggled and fought for air. She surged back and slammed them both into the side of the curved pool wall as the thin woman cried out in pain. Her grip loosened, but she didn’t let go as the bigger woman’s hair was in her eyes, she coughed, a little drool dripping out of her mouth.
“I can’t believe how strong they are for how they look…” I said in a morbidly impressed manner.
“Adrenaline is a hell of a drug, Sophia…”
The heavier woman roared, leaning forward, and flipped the thinner one over her shoulder. She landed in a splash and a slap of skin on water, stunned. Without a moment’s notice, the bigger woman pounced, straddling her midsection in the pool and yanking her hair back.
She took her other hand and slapped the thin woman across the face with two smacks, which echoed throughout the arena.
This prompted an assault on the bigger woman’s breasts as the smaller one reached out and dug her nails tightly into the squishy breasts of her opponent. The heavier woman screamed and reared back as the thinner woman used the moment to strike her with a headbutt that slightly connected with her jaw. But it was enough to separate the hold.
The two separated for a moment as they rolled apart. Both were catching their breaths and coughing up water. The thinner woman was grabbing at her back and side with one hand, which was red from the earlier blow against the side of the pool.
“They aren’t holding anything back…” I whispered.
“Not in tribal combat…”
One woman’s breasts, scratched and clawed, the other with a large red bruise forming across her ribs.
This time, they approached each other cautiously.
They met again… but slower this time, and more deliberate. The thinner woman sidestepped a sweeping motion and wrapped up her opponent in a takedown attempt as she strained her muscles to slam her into the side of the pool. There was a ripple in the water from the impact.
She tried to mount her again, but the heavier woman bucked, whirling around to the side and pulling her into a headlock once more. She rolled them both into deep water this time.
“No, no no,” Elena breathed, grasping the glass edge. “If she keeps her under…”
The thinner woman flailed, arms splatting the water, legs kicking. The heavier woman simply clung, her thighs clasped tight around the other’s hips, pinning her down.
Then, with one sudden effort, the thinner one managed to wrench down hard on her arm. The bigger one growled as her grip relaxed.
Both women gasped and surfaced. The lighter one drew herself free, but her breath was shallow. The heavier woman floated there for a moment, watching, weighing. And then she plunged.
They both crashed into the center of the pool.
This time, the smaller girl launched herself off the side, able to get her legs wrapped around the bigger woman’s neck, rolling backwards in a strange move as she closed her thighs, hard groaning and crushing her opponent. The bigger woman’s body rolled, and they both splashed into the water face-first.
“She’s winging it now,” I exclaimed.
“She’s just plain desperate,” Elena said.
The leaner woman attacked from behind and tried to scoop her up in a rear-naked choke, but you could see her muscles shaking. She was getting tired, but the hold was locked in deep. The heavier woman’s eyes nearly rolled to the back of her head as her body went a little limp.
“Wow… sh-she might do it!”
But right as my words finished, I saw the chubby woman’s breasts flail and an arm spin to what looked like grabbing and digging her nails into the other woman’s crotch.
The hold was let go of right away as she let out a squeal, tears welling in her eyes.
“Doing whatever it takes…” Elena looked over at me, stunned.
The heavier woman wasted no time. She grabbed the thinner one’s leg and yanked with all her might, sending her hurtling off. She moved around and scooped her up under the armpits, pulling her up, and body slammed her onto the water’s surface.
“She’s getting tired,” I gasped.
“I don’t know how much more the thinner one can take…”
They stepped up, fought again. They were clinging to each other, both of them nearly chest-to-chest, both striving to push the other off balance. Their breasts swaying side to side as they stared into each other’s eyes. Their grunts echoed throughout the island.
Noticing the thinner one’s muscles giving out, the heavier one quickly shifted, lifting her opponent in a tight bear hug. Water dripped down her back as she squeezed tight, her breasts firming up against the thinner woman’s ribs.
“She’s choking the life out of her…”
“And look at her face,” Elena said. “She knows it’s coming to an end.”
The thinner girl cried out and gasped as the larger girl enveloped her in a tight bear hug. Their water-drenched bodies slammed into one another with a loud slap, water flying everywhere as the larger girl’s arms wrapped over the smaller frame, crushing her ribs and the fight right out of her. Sofia’s throat tightened.
“She’s got her now,” Elena gasped, watching.
“She’s not fighting her way out of that. No way…”
The thinner woman writhed, her spine twisted, legs kicking beneath the surface of the water as she tried to wriggle free. But the heavier woman’s grip remained tight, her arms swelling with effort. She buried her face against the other woman’s neck, blowing rapidly, grunting at the effort of clinging. The thinner woman’s ribs cracked with a revolting sound—her body arched into a rigid curve as the other woman pushed against her belly, squeezing the breath right out of her.
The struggle continued for what felt like forever. The bony woman clawed at her opponent’s arms, then ripped along her spine in a flurry of nails, eliciting a pain growl. But the bigger woman did not relent. Rather, she lifted her off the waterline, leveraging her momentum to slam her down against the water.
“This isn’t just winning,” Elena panted, her eyes wide and excited. “She’s breaking her.”
I kept quiet, focused on the women’s bodies… a part of me was somewhat enjoying it… I just couldn’t seem to look away…
Then, with a frantic wheeze, the slender woman twisted her hips and slid sideways, wriggling free from the crushing hold. She collapsed against the pool wall, gasping, her body convulsing. The audience erupted in excitement.
“She broke through!” Sofia cried out.
“I thought she was finished.”
But recovery was not survival in this instance. There was nowhere for her to go.
The larger woman advanced, and the two women collided once more in the middle of the pool, this time embracing each other’s breasts with both hands. The thinner woman’s hands pushed into the large flesh of her rival, twisting and mauling. The bigger woman, in return, grasped the smaller breasts, clenching and grinding with bare savagery.
The water was covered with grunts and splashing. Their faces twisted in pain and fury, teeth bared, snarls tugged from between gasps. They were past holds and leverage now—this was victory, two battle-scarred beasts fighting with what they had left.
“Jesus,” Elena breathed. “I don’t think those small breasts are going to help her win this…”
The larger woman wedged her forehead into the smaller one, shoving her backward with force. Their hands still clasped around each other’s tits, twisting, and crushing their nipples, until the smaller one began to clearly give in. Her wails built to screams, legs shaking underwater, and her body finally giving out.
The larger woman then yanked her suddenly into close grasp, wrapping her around again—this time not so much a bear hug, but instead with a different intent.
“She’s done playing,” Sofia whispered.
“She wants it to be over.”
The bigger woman plunged into the thinner woman in a splash, rolling them over so that she was straddling her hips in the middle of the pool. Her legs wedged behind the smaller woman’s back, holding her in place. One hand held her head under water, the other wrapping around the back of it as she pressed her big breasts down, choking her in a cruel breast smother.
The witnesses gasped. Sofia leaned forward, pulse pounding. The thinner woman flailed under the surface, slapping, clawing—but the larger one held her down with every ounce of body weight, keeping her from surfacing. Ripples and bubbles beneath them churned like a kettle at a boil.
“She’s drowning her. Like that. Just. Holding her underwater, Elena said, horrified yet so interested.
The smother was deliberate. This was not only about winning. But winning by humiliating your opponent. Honoring your family with a primal victory nobody could deny. The shorter woman was held down, her head stuck in the other woman’s chest, her body struggling and rolling with less and less strength. Every time she tried to stand, the bigger woman thrust her back down, shaking her head as her wet hair hid her eyes, all I could see was her teeth gritting.
“She’s humiliating her,” I gasped.
“This isn’t just a win. It’s a message.”
The shorter woman’s hands became slow. Her kicks loosened to spasming motions. The pool fell silent, the splashing fading. Only the winner’s steady breathing and her tightening hold every second or two to make sure the life was being drained from her opponent were heard.
And finally, when the fight had stopped altogether, she tossed her up off of her slightly but still riding her a moment and glared down at her with a sneer. Then she let go. The thin woman’s limp body floated to the surface, face up, eyes half-closed.
The arena was quiet. Even the crowd of tourists standing was frozen in stillness, fascinated by what they had witnessed.
The larger woman slowly got to her feet, water running off her bruised, welted skin. She did not cover herself with what little she wore. Her chest rose and fell with slow, deep breaths. Her face was filled with mixed emotions, half tired, half savage pride.
I instinctively reached out and grasped Elena’s hand.
“She didn’t just survive,” she said.
“She ruled.”
As the fight had now concluded, many of the natives wasted no time slipping into the pool to retrieve the body of the loser. She lay, floating face up, with her lifeless eyes pointed to the sky. I watched them in disbelief as two fit men carried her out with little care. Almost as if she were a disgrace for losing this fight.
The winner caught her breath as she sat at the edge of the pool. Her large breasts rose and fell as she raised her arms with a confident and powerful look. As if a part of her enjoyed the humiliating defeat she had given her opponent.
The back of my throat felt dry as I swallowed hard. Unsure of what to say as I stared off.
After a moment, Elena finally spoke.
“She… did kill her. Smothered and drowned her.”
I nodded, my eyes still fixated on the pool.
“I didn’t think you were serious, Elena… That was so… primal…”
A strange silence still took over the room. A silence that wasn’t necessarily mournful but one of fascination and shock at what everyone had just witnessed unfold in front of them.
Some of the natives joined her, raising their hands to the crowd as they ushered her off in victory. Elena turned to look at me.
“Something about that… was… exhilarating to watch… am I crazy for saying that?”
I blinked and looked back at her.
“No… it was… thrilling in a twisted way…”
The two attendants who carried the loser off set her down and covered her with a black cloth. They did this in such a normal way that it was almost hard to believe.
“She had fought as hard as she could.”
“She did, Sophia… but someone has to lose. That’s the rule in tribal combat.”
Someone has to lose.
Those words looped in my head as the images flowed through my mind. Memories of this match will never leave. The bigger woman was crushing and smothering her opponent with her big breasts as she snuffed her lights out forever.
The winner was taken away, her body slightly bruised from the battle she endured as she exited through a tunnel carved in stone.
I turned again to Elena, my voice still a little shaky.
“So uh… how often do they do tribal combat? Like this can’t be an everyday thing, right?”
“It’s um. A sacred event that only takes place once a year. You know… I had never seen it with my own eyes. I thought it might have been exaggerated, but wow… that was truly incredible to witness…”
My eyes narrowed as I searched hers.
“But you did still know… and brought me here knowing that…”
Elena shifted a little as her eyes looked down.
“I mean, I had to see if it was real… I didn’t want to come here alone…”
“Jesus, Elena…”
The craziest part is I wasn’t even angry. I really should have felt disturbed or sickened by what I had seen. But this bizarre feeling that I now felt stirred inside of me. Like something was now awakened.
“I don’t think I will ever unsee that,” I whispered.
Elena had a little sadistic smirk spread across her face.
“You aren’t supposed to.”
My eyes finally drifted around as the other spectators left. Many differing emotions paint their pristine faces. Some clinked wine glasses. Others were excited in a carnal way… aroused even by what took place. A few looked a bit shaken, but not a single one looked bored in any way, that’s for sure.
Never in my life did I think I would witness something like this… the savagery of two women, nearly nude, colliding with one another. Gave me a feeling I just couldn’t seem to shake. Their sweaty bodies rolling around in the water. Something was almost elegant about it in the brutality of it all.
“Elena… I think that I do finally understand it…”
Elena raised an eyebrow.
“Why they decided to do it… the honor of fighting to better yourself… the thrill of humiliating and dominating an opponent in the purest form of combat…”
Elena was silent for a moment but smiled and nodded.
“Just pure survival. In its rawest form.”
I looked into the now-dark sky above us as my thoughts wandered.
“I think it’s gonna be hard to sleep tonight.”
I thought long and hard as we both remained silent, staring at the sparkling full moon above us.
“Would you… Ever do something like that?”
“No.” Elena’s response was quick.
“No… not to the death at least… but if I wasn’t as wealthy as I am now… who knows what my answer would be?”
There we sat. While everyone else left, we sat there and looked up. Elena took a moment to look at me, and my eyes locked with hers.
“Sofia. Would you… Ever… do something like that?”
I felt a strange rush come over my body, and my face turned red as I looked deep into her eyes. I thought long and hard about what it would be like… my nude body rubbing against another in such a primal way. Maybe this was a newfound sadistic side of me emerging from what I had witnessed? Or just a side of human nature we all have deep inside us… Waiting to be unlocked.
I looked at Elena and smirked as the words escaped my lips with confidence.
“I think I would.”
The End
